Brechin - Gardner Memorial and Farnell Parish Churches were linked in early 2008 and whilst each church retains its unique character, their congregations now look forward to working together for the greater Glory of God.

We are holding the second exhibition in the Gardner Church from 22nd October to 1st November 2019 to celebrate the completion of our essential works supported by Heritage Lottery fund and Historic Environment Scotland. We are looking for any photographs or other memorabilia over the years from various groups and events that have taken place at Gardner Memorial. Can you contribute? Please hand in to the Office and these items will be returned after the exhibition. Volunteers to help run the exhibition are required on a rota basis over these dates. Daily from 10am-12.30 and sat/sun 12pm - 2pm. Training will be given. If you can help leave your contact details at the office. ……………………………………..
Come to the Ceilidh on Friday 25th October 2019 from 7.30pm in the Gardner Hall where Inchcape Ceilidh band are playing with Joe Wishart as MC. Stovies and a cuppy are provided. £10 per ticket available from the church office. …………………………
Following the recent
successful completion of essential repair works to the Category A Listed
Gardner Memorial Church in Brechin (1896 – 1900), principally funded through
the Grants for Places of Worship scheme previously administered and supported
by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland, the Church has
arranged for Niall Murphy, Deputy Director of the Glasgow Heritage Trust, to
give a talk on the work of Sir John James Burnet FRSE FRIBA RSA RA (1857 –
1938), one of Scotland’s and Glasgow’s best known architects. The talk will commence at 6.00pm in the Gardner Memorial Church,

and is open to all. Attendance is free and refreshments will be served To reserve places for this
